A modern and innovative design

A ventilation system and a patented structure

The ventilation system

Ventilation is carried out by bending a section of the roof, leaving an opening all along the ridge. When the temperature increases, the oils present in the cylinder expand, which actuates the opening. Ventilation is all the more effective as it is located all along the ridge, the highest part of the greenhouse.

The working coating

The larch frame is stiffened by glazing in UV-resistant polycarbonate sheets. This material has the advantage of being very resistant to impacts and bad weather, while having a lasting transparency...

The structure

The stress concentration points of the frame are firmly linked by brackets reinforcing the wooden frame.

A system of patented thermostatic ACTUATORS

A system of thermostatic cylinders allows automatic opening of the greenhouse: the oil cylinders are calibrated to open the roof from 17°C. The flexibility of the polycarbonate makes this movement possible and avoids any excessive temperature rise within the greenhouse.

ecological and responsible

We have associated noble woods such as larch with more technological materials such as anti-UV polycarbonate or parts
metals treated with zinc-nickel for their durability. Each element followed technical and environmental compromises.

The pieces of larch constituting the frame are of very fine section. The dense texture of wood from cold countries allows this.
Our concept greatly reduces the quantity of materials without altering their solidity. For the example of a Cléophée greenhouse, the mass of 2 mm polycarbonate, the density of which is 1.2, represents 82 kg (and 10 kg of industrial waste) against 344 kg in a glass equivalent.

Our greenhouses are manufactured in the Bay of Somme, by craftsmen specializing in exterior woodwork since 1923. The industrial circuit is short and direct. Most of our partners are located in the industrial basin of Vimeu (80).
